This competition serves as a knowledge-sharing platform for a positive impact in infection prevention among healthcare facility staff. Your participation raises awareness about hidden threats on surfaces, hands and sharing ideas for addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Join us to inspire, encourage and contribute to preventing infections and saving lives.
How to participate
Participating is easy. Select one of the competition entry categories listed below, and share your insights in a story or idea, whether in as few as 100 words or through a video submission.
Competition Entry Categories
1. Surface Decontamination: Share your best practices and innovative methods for surface decontamination, preventing the spread of infections in healthcare settings. This could include novel educational tools, unique access methods, or insights into facility policies.
2. Hand Hygiene: Showcase creative approaches for promoting and monitoring patient and resident hand hygiene to reduce infections. Consider topics like improving access to hand hygiene products, education, or effective message dissemination.
3. AMR Management Strategies: Present your initiatives to combat AMR and promote responsible disinfectant use in your healthcare facility. Share your strategies, experiences, and insights.
Participation details
Eligibility: Open to all healthcare facility staff in Australia; by participating in this competition, you consent to GAMA Healthcare publishing entries on our website and other platforms.
Submission Deadline: Entries must be submitted by 1 July 2024, by 8 pm (AEST).
How to Enter: Submit your entry through the GAMA Sales Team or our website at www.gamahealthcare.com.au/stay-a-step-ahead. Winners will be announced on 31 July 2024, and their contributions shared on our website and LinkedIn channel.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on the creativity and explanations.
Prizes: Winners will receive prizes from GAMA Healthcare.
