What is the Microbe Mission about?
During your mission, you will encounter five of the most notorious microbes in a healthcare setting: norovirus, CPE, Clostridioides difficile (C. difficile), Candidozyma auris (C. auris), and VRE.
These microbes are major contributors to healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and can persist invisibly in the environment, contaminating surfaces and equipment. As you navigate the Microbe Mission, you will uncover these hidden adversaries and strengthen your understanding of evidence-based infection prevention practices.
